Job Summary:

The America’s Auto Auction - Virginia Sales Representative role is a key customer facing employee that reports directly to the Sales/General Manager or designated manager. The sales representative will work with dealers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. The sales representative will work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals and maintaining existing dealer relationships. Attend local or national meetings and conventions, dealer and remarketing trade shows and for developing and managing special projects as requested by management. This role will be 90% working in the field and may require overnight travel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perpetual positive attitude, enthusiasm and internal motivation to succeed

• Execute the sales strategy at the auction location as set forth by the Sales or General Manager

• Aggressively seek out new business opportunities and develop and maintain strong business partnerships with the purpose of gaining the dealer’s trust and delivering value added services

• Manage the territory to incorporate a variety of sales calls (prospecting, account maintenance, fallout, etc.) to ensure overall growth in the volume of consignment cars consigned from all current and potential accounts

• Develop proposal generation and presentation to dealers

• Attend sales meetings, turn in any applicable weekly and monthly reports, and help drive the team to the ultimate sales goal

• Participate in the auction operation process both pre-sale day and sale day

• Get cars consigned, help the auction get them sold, and make the dealer’s experience unforgettable every week

Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Proven success in the sales field

• Previous experience in the car business a plus

• Subject to background check
